CIRCUIT TRAINING

an effective full-body workout that combines bodyweight movements, free

weights and machine work.

Circuit Training at Tallinn CrossFit is for people who want to work at a calmer pace and who like plenty of variety. The session follows an EMOM format (every minute on the minute), with a different movement each minute.

You work for 40 or 50 seconds of the minute and use the rest to move on to the next station. Depending on the session there are 5, 10 or more stations, and you complete two or three rounds with rest minutes in between.

Most of the work uses dumbbells, medicine balls, the sled, kettlebells and machines, with plenty of bodyweight movement as well. You choose and control your own pace, while the coach helps you find the right load and gives guidance on reps and technique.

The class suits everyone and needs no sporting background. Training regularly raises your energy levels and builds the capacity to handle the other training styles too.

If CrossFit feels too intense to start with, start here. You will meet some of the CrossFit movements along the way and get used to the load gradually, so that you can move on to the faster classes later.
